Raising Up Dads provides a variety of services aimed at educating and supporting men who want to be better fathers and partners!

Online Services:

RaisingUpDads.com – Monthly in-depth articles on fatherhood and related topics

Facebook – Weekly thoughts and discussions related to Children, Community, Health and Identity as well as occasional ‘lighter’ topics!

Twitter – Daily advice pertaining to Healthy Parenting.

In Person:

(Currently only available in Central Illinois – Hosted by New Life Pregnancy Center, Decatur, IL.)

Healthy Parenting – A 10-session class that uses narrative learning to teach participants how to take steps towards being a healthy parent. A healthy parent is defined as a parent who: has healthy relationships, has a healthy sense of self, is healthy in body and mind, and knows how to raise healthy children. (Available on demand – Contact Raising Up Dads to schedule.)

Strategy Sessions – A weekly hour long meeting for men to gather, ask questions and learn from each other about what is working in their efforts to be a healthy parent. (Currently meets on Mondays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.)

Magis de Deo Spiritual Formation – A weekly meeting for men desiring a more meaningful faith. Open to all but uses materials based on Christian theology and spirituality. (Currently meets on Thursdays from 10:00am – 11:00am.)

SAWE Mentoring – A client-centered, integrated approach to mentoring. Mentors are trained volunteers. (Available on demand – Contact Raising Up Dads to schedule.)
