Bright Horizons CHRO Mel McDuffie Receives Most Powerful & Influential Women Award from the National Diversity Council

May 16, 2024 –  Last month, Bright Horizons Chief Human Resources Officer, Mel McDuffie, received the Most Powerful & Influential Women Award from the National Diversity Council.

Each year, the National Diversity Council recognizes and honors women who have not only achieved personal success but have made it possible for others to more easily follow in their footsteps. The Most Powerful & Influential Women Award recognizes a woman who demonstrates leadership excellence and has sustained accomplishments and contributions to her field throughout her career. 

“I am honored to be recognized amongst the Most Powerful and Influential Women by the Diversity Leadership Council,” said McDuffie.  “It underscores my commitment to championing diversity and inclusion and motivates me to continue advocating for workplaces where everyone feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.”

The award was presented to McDuffie during the 20th annual National Diversity & Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX.
